MAKING DIFFICULT COMMUNICATION DOABLE
Difficult communication comes in all shapes and sizes, from settling employee disagreements, giving performance appraisals, making changes to schedules, counseling, discipline, or even termination. Ever struggle with how to come up with and say the “right words, at the right time?” As leaders, we will all be faced with the opportunity to address a difficult situation. When the time comes, our choices will be to act with confidence or react with fear.
This workshop is designed to help those who supervise and manage others to better understand the wide variety of communication tools and approaches available and how to use them to get our message across in ways which encourage, build self-esteem, and minimize the level of discomfort for all involved.
During this session of Making Difficult Communication Doable, we will discuss how and when to involve others in the discussion, how to play off strengths and relationships, and how to cultivate, motivate, and sustain the performance levels or outcomes expected. If you would like to improve your overall effectiveness in connecting and dealing with employees during difficult situations, this workshop is for you.

DRIVING ACCOUNTABILITY
In business, as in life, we are all supposed to be accountable for the results we achieve. When it comes to getting results there are
two kinds of people, those who "do", and those who "do not have a clue." Yet, why does it seem that some people can get away with missing deadlines or failing to meet goals, while others are forced to pick up the slack? Accountability is the key.
Good management encourages communication, leadership, guidance, and setting clear goals at all levels. During this workshop we
will discuss how we can drive accountability through our communication, expectations, and motivation of others.
Participants will learn to distinguish between excuses and assignable causes, how to eliminate blaming others or from accepting excuses, and ways to identify specific performance deficiencies or skill gaps. We will look at proven methods to help others to stay on track, avoid making excuses, and to focus on results.
Preparation, planning, and purpose are the keys to driving accountability. Learn proven action steps used to deliver straight-forward, fact-based, result-oriented feedback and instructions to your employees.
Participants will discuss how to handle real-life situations, anticipate employee responses, and how to choose the proper course
of action to take to drive high performance, accountability, and results. This hands-on workshop will encourage the sharing of best practices, experiences, and techniques, which can help you to improve your leadership skills, increase your personal job satisfaction, and to reduce your level of stress at work.
